Google Gets Suggestive

During the first few months of testing, Google focused only on one or two search terms, but now they are expanding it to more long tailed search terms. Sponsored links were the first changes that were brought to the search suggest feature, but now there are more major updates that have sharpened the Google tool.

The first of these updates is suggestions on the first results page. This is based on Google's behavioral understanding of how users refine search terms. For example, if you were searching for "margaritas" and were on the first results page, you can click in the search bar and "how to make margaritas" and "mango margaritas" and "margarita calories" pop up in the suggestion bar.
