AdWords Google Make Money
You may have seen that there are a lot of guides professing that AdWords & Google make money for you. You may have also seen all the warnings out there that AdWords can cost you a lot of money. Both are true, to a limited extent.
The market is virtually flooded with AdWords guides. Most of them don't work, and if they do, will only work to a limited extent. The problem of it is that the rules change frequently, and often dramatically. You can safely bet that if the AdWords guide you're looking at is over a year old, it's probably out of date.
Using AdWords CAN cost you a lot of money, but it's not necessarily so, if you know what you're doing. One mistake many people make when using the system is that they think it can just be a passive form of income. They don't watch what's going on in their AdWords accounts and don't find out that they need to change some things until it's too late.
Another mistake is that they don't do their keyword research right. There are ways to pick the right keywords for your niche without shelling out several dollars per click. For that matter, they may not pick the keywords that make their clicks convert into sales
A great number of other things could go wrong in an AdWords campaign. Your squeeze page may not convert well. You may not have the right keywords. You may not be using all the hidden features of AdWords to maximize your ROI.
What you need to do is find the right AdWords guide. Find the one that has the most recent copyright statement. Find the one that teaches you how to incorporate traditional media in your campaign. Find the one that tells you exactly what to say on your squeeze page to make people convert.

I am the owner of this site.
If one Adwords user is doing CPM bidding and another does cost per click bidding, which one wins?
On my site I accept both site-targeted and keyword-targeted ads. The keyword-targeted ads are based on a cost per click. The site-targeted ads are based on a cost per impression.
Since this is Apples and Oranges, how does Google decide whether to display a site-targeted ad or a keyword-targeted ad?
People wanting to advertise specifically on my site are wondering (a) what CPM to bid and (b) why their ad isn't appearing. I am assuming their bids are too low, but I don't know.
