Ad Campaigns
A Google Adwords campaign consists of at one or multiple ad groups. The ad groups in one campaign all share the same language, location targeting, start and end dates, daily budget and the same syndication options.

The best use of Google ad campaigns is to create a distinct and separate ad campaign for every distinct website and or project.
Within each individual ad campaign you would then create multiple ad groups targeting different keywords.

Ad groups come in very handy when you are targeted very focused keywords as you can set up different ad groups for different keyword groups in the one campaign. A Google ad group consists of one ad or multiple ads targeting one group of keywords or websites.
