Finding Hot Niches- A Basic Method
by Peter JohnsonPerhaps the biggest reason most internet marketers fail is because an overexposed niche is being promoted. To put it simply, you need ensure the niche you want to promote is unexploited and that there is profit to be made. In this article I will show some basic guidelines, which if adhered to will more likely result in finding hot niches. I specifically wish to highlight the specific qualities of finding hot niches for Affiliate Marketing and Adsense.
Finding Hot Niches For Affiliate Marketing
There are 3 main keys elements to finding a hot niche for Affiliate Marketing profits. They are:
1) High Demand 2) Presence Of Advertisers and 3) Low CPC (Cost Per Click).
Firstly your chosen niche should have a high demand, in that they keywords should have at least 5000 Overture monthly searches. Secondly your chosen niche should have a presence of Advertisers. By this I mean there should be advertisers already advertising on Pay-Per-Click search engines- preferably Google. Ideally you want to have less than 10 advertisers competing for the no.1 position on Google Adwords. Thirdly you need to have a low CPC for the niche you want to promote. This is obviously entirely up to the user, but less than $1.00 per click is advisable.
If your potential niche measures up to the above criteria, you more than likely have a successful Affiliate Marketing campaign in the making.
Finding Hot Niches For Adsense
There are 4 main key elements to finding a hot niche for Adsense profits. They are:
1) High Demand 2) Low Supply 3) High CPC 4) Presence Of Advertisers
Like with Affiliate marketing your chosen niche should have a high demand- in this instance keywords should have at least 10, 000 Overture monthly searches. Secondly your chosen niche should have a low supply. By low supply I am referring to Google Search Results and in this instance keywords with results less than 1, 000, 000 are ideal. Thirdly your chosen niche should have the highest possible CPC. It is worth mentioning that the Adsense advertiser receives approximately half of the CPC every time someone clicks on their Adsense ad. Finally your chosen niche should have loads of advertisers competing for the no.1 position on Google Adwords- a minimum of 20 advertisers is ideal.
Conclusion
Without the knowledge that your chosen niche is unexploited and that there is potential for profit, you may as well burn your advertising money. Finding hot unexploited niches is perhaps the most crucial element to success in online marketing.
